Plus Size Gothic Clothing
From LoveToKnow Plussize
For people brave enough to wear what they want to wear and be who they want to be, plus size gothic clothing lets you make a fashion statement that defies the norm.
Both Basics
Fashion is a big part of gothic culture, but there's more to the fashion than wearing black. So while the term "goth" conjures a specific look in many a person's mind, that gothic lifestyle look is not always the same. Popular colors used to compliment the basic black in gothic clothing include:
- Dark reds
- Violet
- Blue
- Green
- White
Within gothic fashion, there are a variety of styles staying true to the unique spontaneity for which goths are known. This variety allows people to choose the style that suits them:
- Romantic – Period clothing. Tailored velvet jackets and lace.
- Classy – Wears any color of clothing but keeps colors dull and neutral.
- Punk – Spiked collars, latex, industrial boots.
- Goth Lolita – Trendy popular look in Japan and growing in popularity in the Western world. Makes the wearer look doll-like, sweet and/or elegant.
- 1980s goth – Grew out of the 1980s gothic rock scene.
- Cyber goth - Into the Industrial music scene. Usually wears flashy clothes and accessories displaying a mechanical/industrial theme.
- Corporate goth - A subgenre of gothic fashion adopted as a response to dress codes in corporate settings, and now often worn in non-working situations. Often includes a pant suit in black or dark grey, an ornate, silk, lacy, frilled or otherwise dressy blouse/shirt and simple gothic jewelry.
Goth Hair
Goth allows people to be individuals. While stereotypes may lead the general public to think otherwise, not everyone who dresses goth dyes their hair. However, it's not unusual for goths to dye their hair black, blue or even purple.

Comments
Thanks, Corpsegoddess, for your input. We'd like to hear from any other readers who've had any experience with Drac-in-the-box (positive or negative) or even from a Drac representative who'd like to clear up the company name.
-- Contributed by: Del SandeenYou might want to take Drac-in-the-box off your list. I ordered from them almost three years ago and *still* have not received all the items I ordered, despite much communication with them. I've encountered a lot of people who have had the same experience with them as well.
Just an FYI.
