Driordan, thanks for your question. It's too bad the underwire appears to poke out so soon after purchase! If the underwire itself is not broken, you can gently maneuver it back inside the hole and use a needle and thread to stitch the area together again.

If you choose to use a washing machine in the future, be sure to fasten the hooks and place your bras in a mesh lingerie bag. Good luck.

i have bought many of your bras and most of them the underwire starts working out the first time i wear them i can't return them because they have been washed and worn. i hand wash and don't use the dryer. what should i do??

Hi Sherlyn. Without knowing the materials, I can't really say. It's possible you and your friend are having an allergic reaction. Have you tried contacting the company or retailer where you bought the bras? That would be my suggestion. How many times did you wear it before you noticed the itching? Did you only wear it once or was it multiple times before you noticed the problem? Is it some lace that's causing the itching? Try to think over some of these possibilities before you contact the company so they'll be better able to assist you. Good luck!

I have 2 Delta Burke bras that I can't wear because they make me itch. One is style # 2509-49 the other is 2261-20. My friend also has the first one and it makes her itch as well. Any suggestions?????

Hi Pam. Have you looked at Swimsuits for All? They have two-piece styles there with the skirted bottoms. Not necessarily Delta Burke but they do carry skirted suits in the style you mentioned, which is definitely more convenient for those restroom breaks! Thanks for your comment.

I have an Idea. I love the swimdress style, but the draw back is having to pull a wet suit up after going to the restroom. Why can't someone design a two piece swimdress. I'm sure it would sell. I now I would buy it, the ease of a tow piece but the look of a swimdress. Love IT

Hi Sharon. Try JCPenney if there's one close to you. Other than that, you have online shopping options, as detailed in Delta Burke Swimsuits.

what retail stores carry Delta Burke swimmwear?

Hi Misha. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm very sorry to hear that the DB items were so disappointing and that you had no recourse with the company. There are many other plus size lingerie retailers you may have better luck with. Thanks for sharing with our readers!

I was very disappointed in Delta Burke lingerie recently. I ALWAYS wear size 9 panties, not in her brand. I also wear size 42C bras, I was unable to even get them to hook. I have never had pretty bra & panty sets and I spent nearly $100 buying them last weekend, took them home to try on (I hate trying store dressing rooms) and nothing fit. I thought Delta Burke fashions, supposedly created by a plus sized woman, would fit a plus sized woman like myself. And I have been unable to find a way to contact the Delta Burke company directly. It was very disappointing as the lingerie was soooo pretty! I returned every single item.

Hi Diane. Have you tried contacting the store where you bought the bra? That's one of the first steps you can take. It would be helpful if you still have your receipt. I suggest asking to speak to a manager. If you ordered it online, try to get in touch with the customer service dept. and ask them what they're willing to do. Good luck!

I purchased a Delta Burke bra, style #2254-28, in navy, in a size 42D. The first time I gently washed it, the wire poked through the fabric underneath. What recourse do I have to either replace it or obtain a refund?

Hi Gloria. I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with the DB swimsuit. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any contact information for the company. There isn't even a DB website, as the swimsuits and lingerie are sold through outlets like Women Within and other plus size clothing retailers. Is there any way you can contact the place where you purchased the swimsuit?

I purchased a Delta Burke swimsuit, Style 101, for a vacation. I wore the suit twice and the second time I came out of the water the skirt was stretched out and down to my knees. When you hold up the skirt there are places where the fabric is in tact but mostly the skirt looks like stretched out spandex. The fabric in the top and the pants under the skirt are in perfect condition. Obviously the fabric in the Delta Burke suit was defective. How can I go about getting another bottom or getting in touch with Delta Burke Designs?

Hi Carolyn. Thank you for your comments. I'm very glad DB fashions are working for you. At this time, while DB swimwear is still available, I can't locate another retailer who carries any clothing. Hopefully, she will bring back her clothing line, but right now, it seems one of the few options is eBay.

I really like Delta Burkes lingerie- tired of the scratchy ill-fitting items from Walmart...and on a budget pinching more every day... I discovered her line and purchase on ebay. Nice fabrics!! I have fibromyalgia and have found the clothes quite comfortable for sensitive skin and very reasonably priced with great styling that actually fit. I wear sz 14 and losing weight and so..may not be able to wear much longer! WHERE are women to buy her clothes though? None on Amazon. I do hope she continues to design and sell.

Hi Michelle. Have you tried any of the links above, under "Styles of DB Fashions"? I see some Delta Burke lingerie at Lingerie Mart and at Rhonda's Fashions. You may want to check them out if you haven't already.

WHERE CAN I FIND DELTA BURKE LINGERIE ITS THE ONLY THING I WHERE NOW I CANT FIND THE BRAND AT ALL

Hi Lorraine. Sorry to hear that your sweater was ruined. Unfortunately, a search at QVC yielded no Delta Burke results. Besides the resources we've already listed for swimwear or lingerie, many Delta Burke fashions have been discontinued. Besides auction sites like eBay, it's extremely difficult to find any new styles by the designer. Sorry!

Several years ago I purchased a "wonderful black sweater" of your off QVC. It was v neck and had pockets and was the softest I've ever had but unfortunately it was ruined with candle wax. Do you still make that sweater and if so where can I purchase it? Also where can I purchase your clothing? Thanks a bunch, Lorraine

Hi Judy. Sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience. Have you considered writing to the company about the issues you've had? It's possible they aren't aware of it, but if customers like you make them aware, perhaps they can change or fix things. Good luck!

Thanks for commenting, Kathleen! We're very glad you had such a positive experience and good luck finding more DB tops.

The tag on Delta's bras talks about well fitting clothes that have quality craftmanship. That can't be further from the truth regarding bras. I am attracted to this bra line because of the great colors they come in. Yet I have to return 7 out of 10 because of the horrid fit. Sometimes I find them in TJMaxx or Marshalls marked down to $2 or $3 dollars. When I go to try them on the fit is so far from the size noted it is no wonder noone is buying them. And they are all different in their problem with fit.

If I were part of this company I would be so ashamed to put out a product like this. You have no quality control at all.

I was fortunate to find 2 of Delta Burke designed blouses and unfortunate that they were in a thrift shop. This was a few years ago and I have been looking for others since. I wish Delta would design some other shirts, blouses. They were beautiful and colorful and I love them!!! Thanks I will try the site
