Hi Marisa, those boots were originally sold by Amazon, but it's been quite a while since they were carried. However, we have a couple of other options: You can take a look at current Amazon stock for wide-calf boots and Wide Widths also carries similar styles. Hope you find something you like!

Who makes the black boots displayed at the top of the page?!?!? I would love more info on them!

Hi Jana. The hunt for really cute, high heel boots with wide calves can certainly be frustrating! Wide Widths has one option -- they may not be stilettos, but at least the heels aren't chunky. You may consider having boots custom made. Often, they're not as expensive as you might think, plus you can get exactly what you want that way.

Girls... I'm just on the cusp of plus size. I'm a size 12. 5'8 175lbs. and I was a dancer - did ballet for 20 years, then modern dance, now I teach and go out salsa dancing.... needless to say - I have muscular calves... AND I CAN"T FIND ANY BOOTS TO FIT ME EITHER...so it's not just short round girls. I need a 16 or 17" cir...ference boot - and I can find them in extended sizes - but what ...es me off is.. the selection is so limited... and the heels are all chuncky and short.... what do they think? Larger women can't wear stillettos!@!!

Hi Heather. Thank you for commenting. We're glad to be of help.

Hi Kari. I'm very sorry to hear that you're having a hard time finding boots to fit you. If you can't find a retailer that sells boots for you, you may want to look into having some custom made. Here's one link as a starting point, unless you can look into a local shop near you: Motor Cowboy. Good luck!

I give up. I am 4'11" and 210 pounds. I wear a size 18/20 and to date have not been able to find tall wide calf boots that meet my needs. Maybe short round girls just aren't meant to wear tall boots!

Thank you so much for this information! It is so hard finding boots that fit but having this many websites to go to is just incredible.

Thanks for your comment, Samantha. Avenue is one of our most popular resources, so maybe other women who need boots for large calves can find what they need there as well.

Thank you so much for this article! I have very large calves and have wanted knee-high boots for years. I just found a pair on Avenue that will fit me. Thank you so so much. The husband is going to be very happy! LOL

Erica, whoever you are, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the comment you made about WideWidths.com!!! I never ever in my life was able to wear a pair of knee high boots and because of you and this great website I now have my second pair coming this week. I have very big athletic calves from years of playing soccer and they have the nicest boots. I had to call to ask opinions about what style/size I should order in one particular style and I spoke to someone that gave me the best advice - right on the money. They charge for shipping but they explained that their costs are very high because they have all of these boots custom made for them and it is a very expensive proposition for them as a result. When you think about it, how many times have any of you had to send boots back and forth until (or if ever) you finally found any that fit you? Trust me, it is worth every penny not to be frustrated and upset each time to find yet another pair that some company claimed was a wide calf was not even close to fitting! By the way, Duo boots is in the UK and they are ridiculously expensive because of the exchange rate AND you have to pay very high shipping and then customs fees on top of that.

I purchased a pair of Kathryn Kerrigan boots last fall and they are PERFECT for my calf. At first they were a little snug, but the leather stretched and now they are perfect. Have worn them at least 20 times! Love, Love, Love!!

I wanted to share my happiness about a place I found for wide calf boots after searching for years and I am in 7th heaven! I found them at WideWidths.com since they sell the greatest wide calf boots! I just got my second pair of boots with a wide calf cir...ference from them and I have NEVER been able to find a pair of boots before in my life! They have nice fashionable styles - all the stuff that the skinny calf women are wearing! Their customer service department is great too since they answer you within a few hours and they are very nice and helpful. Every single boot on their site comes only for wide calves so you don't waste your time looking through sites to find out that nothing will fit you. I never thought I'd be able to find a pair of boots for my big legs and I also wear a wide width too (thanks Grandma!) as if one thing wasn't enough. What a great place to shop - you'll love their stuff. _________________________________________________________________________________

I've found it's so important to get the right fit when buying boots; it can make the difference between an outfit looking great or looking awful. I always buys my boots from duo.com they have the most calf sizes available of all the companies i've tried. Samara are my latest purchase.
