-- Contributed by: MichalHi Saleem. Have you thought about taking a sewing class? I don't know where you live, but some community colleges offer classes for a minimal fee. You can contact your local colleges to see if they offer that. Also, you can ask around at your local fabric shop. Sometimes they offer classes or know where to direct you.

-- Contributed by: saleemshekhani@gmail.comHi Lee. Try the Francesca pattern, which is free. Or, Simplicity has quite a few plus size dress patterns -- they're not free, but are pretty inexpensive. Plus, by using different fabrics, you can get different looks from just one or two patterns.

-- Contributed by: leeHi, Randy. I know it's difficult finding free patterns. I found one site, FreePatterns.com, but without registering, I honestly don't know what sizes in patterns they offer. Also, Karens Variety has a selection of plus size patterns. I know there's a fee for them, but I believe that if you sign up for the newsletter, you'll be able to get some free patterns that way. Hope this helps!
