Tammy, thanks for your question. You might try getting in touch with a general talent or modeling agency in your area instead of one specifically geared toward plus sizes. Find out if they have a plus size division and what their criteria for acceptance is. If you do not already have photographs, now would be a good time to create a portfolio. Best of luck to you!

im in moncton new brunswick and i have no idea where to start or if there are plus size agenciese anywhere near i know my face will make the cut for sure can u give me any ideas?

I am so glad I found this site!It was very helpful information.I have been trying to get into the plus model buisness for a while now and am struggling to get my foot in the door!Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I have a small portfolio and am alittle sure of my body type and which field I am right for,now I just need the proper agency to look at me.Im in Colorado and the field is very limited here.I need help getting noticed.Where would be a good place to start?Please help!!!!
